Hamad Port Visitor Centre - Films

Filmed at multiple locations around Doha the cinematic Inspire Film conveys the vision for Qatar centred around the construction of the new Hamad Port. Using bespoke set-ups to capture unique camera POVs the crew found themselves on a historic dhow in Doha harbour, strapping the camera to a car, to the front of a boat and filming in a number of public spaces including a school and library. Special government permissions were sort to film at some sensitive locations and for permission to fly a drone over the capital city - the first in a number of years. Filming around the port construction site also required additional health and safety permissions and considerations. Motion graphics and CGI are elegantly integrated with the live action footage and archive.

Other filmic works for the visitor centre included a live action character interacting with a CGI environment to tell the story of the shipping container and a number of short films exploring the engineering and environmental stories behind the building of the port.
